Open Source
Projects | Links: Code Contributions
This is an ONGOING PROJECT which plays very well with my personal phylosophy around FOSS (Free Open Source Software), where I have the opportunity to contribute and learn pretty much every day. Very fulfilling and rewarding.
“The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.”
Personal Thoughts
I gotta say, this is ALWAYS and ONGOING PROJECT. Being a FOSS (Free Open Source Software) Person means to keep in mind: “Give back to the community”. De*fending and contributing to Open Source, does NOT mean sitting in front of the computer and code and code, there are so many ways to provide value in this space:
- Test and report issues.
- Answer questions.
- Spread knowledge:
- Talks.
- Articles.
- Podcasts
- Communities.
- Coding of course :).
- Give Feedback.
It is IMPORTANT that whatever we do, adds up to the open source project. Being constructive is key here and we should NEVER cause unnecessary noise.
Project Description
There is NO REAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION: I try to do my best in regards to the mentioned items above but if I had to pick some of my contributions:
Project Duration
- Probably till the end of my days :).
Experiences
- Communication.
- Coding Good Practices.
- Big Projects Management and Coordination.
- Software Security.
- Software Architecture.
